Hi, I’m Sara (the expert).

Sara Glakas is the founder of Black Barn Financial, an independent fee-only investment advisory firm in Austin, Texas. Black Barn was designed from the ground up to provide clients with independent advice, a transparent fee structure and a fiduciary standard of care.

Sara has an MBA with a concentration in corporate finance from St. Edward's University and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. In 2011 she co-founded the Austin Women's Investing Group, a Meetup group, with thousands of women from Austin and beyond. Her favorite Torchy’s Taco is off the secret menu so she can’t tell you what it is.

Hi, I’m Caitlin (the dummy).

Caitlin Meredith has had a wide-ranging freelance career, landing her everywhere from war zones in Sudan to maximum-security prisons in Texas. She now works as a mediator and coach, based in the Bay Area.

Caitlin has a MA in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and an MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She has been a member of the Austin Women's Investment Group since 2014. Her favorite Torchy's Taco is baja shrimp.

    Taylor is the resident WOTV font boss - she hand-crafted all of our yellow scratchy words and helped with overall style and spunk. Taylor is a senior in high school living in Austin, TX who loves anything that involves animals or being creative. Her favorite favorites are taquitos from Chuy’s.
